with Bennett Freeman, Senior Vice President of Sustainability Research & Policy, Calvert Investments
Mr. Freeman is an expert on stakeholder engagement with corporations. Currently, he heads Calvert Investment’s Sustainability Research Department and oversees its company research and analysis as well as its policy and advocacy work. Calvert is a $13 billion asset management firm based in Maryland.
He also worked in the Clinton Administration as Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labor from 1999 thru 2001.
He serves on the boards of Oxfam America, the Institute for Business and Human Rights and the Genocide Intervention Network, and is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
